De Wolf in the Netherlands

Wolves have now resettled in the Netherlands and the first wolf pups were born on the Veluwe in 2019. Wolves are also living permanently just across the border in the countries around us, such as in Leopoldsburg in Belgium and Meppen in Germany, where young have already been born. One of the young wolves from the 2019 litter has now settled in the South Veluwe. Natuurmonumenten has installed a number of wildlife cameras in its area. Videos of this wolf appear regularly on the site of natural monuments.
